Bea’s Kids provides a safe, engaging atmosphere for afterschool enrichment and activities. The volunteers of Bea’s Kids are their greatest asset- helping with homework, educational games, and academic activities.   Boys and Girls Club of Greater Dallas enables all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.     

  Brother Bill’s Helping Hand assists in providing the basic needs of food, clothing, shoes and hope in surrounding Dallas community.     
  The Buckner Home, Shoes for Orphan Souls has distributed more than 1.8 million pairs of new shoes to at-risk children in the US and to orphans in 68 countries around the world.     

  Children's provides patient care ranging from simple eye exams to specialized treatment in areas such as heart disease, hematology-oncology and cystic fibrosis. In addition, Children's is a major pediatric kidney, liver, intestine, heart and bone marrow transplant center. As the primary pediatric teaching facility for The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, the medical staff at Children's conducts research that is instrumental in developing treatments, therapies, and greater understanding of pediatric diseases.     

  Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center (DCAC) provides comprehensive services of counseling, investigation, and therapy for abused children. The mission of the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center is to improve the lives of abused children in Dallas County and provide national leadership on child abuse issues.     

  Dallas Children’s Theater is a professional theater serving more than 270,000 young people and their families through its 11 main stage productions, national touring company, and education and outreach programs. As the only major organization in Dallas focusing solely on youth and family theater, DCT builds bridges of understanding between generations and cultures, instilling an early appreciation of literature, art and the performing arts in tomorrow’s artists and patrons.     

  The mission of the Dallas Heritage Village, previously Old City Park, is to preserve structures, artifacts and other historical materials related to the history of Dallas.It is located in Old City Park, just south of downtown. Nestled in among trees and winding sidewalks on about 9 acres are 38 historic buildings from Dallas and the north Texas area that show and tell the history of Dallas form 1840 to 1910.
     
  The Mission of the Dallas Public Library is to link resources and customers to enhance lives. The Library is committed to inform, entertain, enrich, and to foster the self-learning process by facilitating access to its collections, services, and facilities to all members of the community. All service efforts will focus on customer expectations and needs.     


Dan D. Rogers Elementary Summer Enrichment Camp. 3rd, 4th and 5th graders in low-income housing are offered help to build their academic skills and self esteem.     
  Genesis Women's Shelter provides shelter and support for battered women and their children.  The Shelter operated a thrift store whose proceeds fund various programs at the Shelter.

  Medallion is designed for senior adults who wish to maintain their independent lifestyles but need additional assistance to do so. 
  The North Texas Food Bank was established in 1982 to address the critical issue of hunger in the North Texas area by securing donations of surplus unmarketabl, but wholesome, foods and grocert products for distribution through a network of charitable organizations dedicated to feeding the hungery in 13 North Texas Counties, including Dallas, Denton, Collin, Fannin, Rockwall, Hunt, Grayson, Kaufman, Ellis, Navarro, Lamar, Delta and Hopkins. 
  Orpheus is a group of performers that sing in church choirs or teach in universities in the area. They perform as  Orpheus Chamber Singers 5-6 times a years for their patrons. They bring in groups of students from Dallas and Fort  Worth to experience the music and teach them about it. The group was formed 15 years ago and attendance grows  each year for their concerts
  Project Transformation engages young adults in purposeful leadership and ministry by building life-impacting relationships, serving children and families, and connecting churches to underserved communities. 
  The American Red Cross, a humanitarian organization led by volunteers and guided by its Congressional Charter and the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross Movement, will provide relief to victims of disasters and help people prevent, prepare for, and respond to emergencies. 
  The SPCA of Texas is dedicated to providing every animal with exceptional care and a loving home. 
  The Family Place keeps its doors open to the battered women and children in our community. The Family Place provides for those who desperately need their services. 
  The Friends of the Katy Trail is a nonprofit organization founded to organize community support for the Katy Trail, to advocate support for the Trail, to raise private funds for the completion of the Trail, and to help the City of Dallas plan, build and maintain Trail improvements.

  USO Dallas/Fort Worth opened June 14, 2004 to serve the military community, and has welcomed over 1 million service members since then.  A non-profit organization, we are here to serve personnel in all branches of the military- active duty, National Guard, reserve, retirees, and authorized family members.  All services provided at USO DFW are free to our guests and are made possible by the generosity of the North Texas Community.
